Putting It All Together

What Should You Prioritize?

There is no universal answer.

Someone who wants maximum sparkle may prioritize cut.

Someone who wants a large visual presence may accept a lower color or clarity grade to increase carat weight.

Someone buying an emerald cut may prioritize clarity.

Someone setting a diamond in yellow gold may decide they do not need an extremely high color grade.

Someone buying an antique-style diamond may actually prefer visible character.

That is why we do not believe diamond shopping should simply mean chasing the highest number in every category.

The goal is not to buy the best grading report.

The goal is to buy the best diamond for you.

Goldie’s Approach to Natural Diamonds

We want you to understand what you are looking at.

We will explain the grades.

We will show you the differences.

We will tell you where spending more makes a visible difference and where it may not.

Most importantly, we want you to compare actual diamonds rather than falling in love with specifications alone.

A diamond should look beautiful before you ever read the report.

The certificate helps explain why.

It should never have to convince you that the stone is beautiful.

Learn the numbers. Understand the stone. Then choose the diamond that speaks to you.
